WRTC-2002
The Finnish Amateur Radio League (SRAL) and Contest Club Finland (CCF) have announced that Finland will host the World Radiosport Team Championship, July 9-16, 2002.

The SCCC is one of 13 US contest clubs that have been asked to nominate team captains for WRTC-2002. The process is different than previous WRTCs. In 2002 there will be 10 contest teams representing the US. Each of the selected 13 contest clubs must submit a list of 10 nominees, 5 from the West and 5 from the East, by June 15, 2001. The West is defined as call areas 5, 6, 7, Ø KH6 and KL7, while the East is 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9. The WRTC-2002 organizers will then select 5 captains from the West and 5 from the East based on the number of "votes" nominees receive. Details of WRTC-2002 can be found on the official web site at: http://www.wrtc2002.org/.

CAC Club Studymore info
The ARRL Contest Advisory Committee has been asked to look into rules surrounding club competition in ARRL contests. They are taking a top-to-bottom approach to this, not just tweaking the rules here and there.

The SCCC thanks Bill Fisher, W4AN, for donating the home for this web site. Without his generosity, this site would not be possible.
